They deliver a wide range of local support services to meet the needs of Carers in our community. These range from support services catered to the Carer, the needs of the person you care for and the services provided by other organisations

The Council for Disabled Children (CDC) is the umbrella body for the disabled children’s sector in England, with links to other UK nations. They are the only national body that brings together the diverse range of organisations that work with and for disabled children to support the development and implementation of policy and practice. Their work impacts on over 800,000 disabled children and their families.

Disibility Information Bureau
The Disability Information Bureau is staffed by volunteers with first hand experience of disability and provides a free and confidential service on all aspects of disability to disabled people, carers, friends and professionals. Cheshire Centre for Independent Living
Cheshire Centre for Independent Living is a not-for-profit charitable user-led organisation, run and controlled by disabled people; providing a range of support services, driven by the needs and aspirations of disabled people.
They give impartial technical advice and support to people directing their own care through a Personal Budget or Personal Health Budget, and also offer an online recruitment tool for Individual Employers and Personal Assistants, a Payroll service, Managed Bank Account service, Training for Individual Employers and their Personal Assistants, Advocacy and Peer Support. CCIL also support disabled young people to access universal services and facilitate short breaks for their parents

Friends For Leisure
Friends for Leisure arranges activities from one-to-one friendships through to group activities, such as drama and sports sessions, for children & young people aged 5-21 with disabilities who live in Cheshire East. We also help our children and young people access activities of their choice, with or without a volunteer friend.

CCBS was established in 2004 to support children and young people with a range of disabilities. It offers a number of different clubs throughout the year mainly in the Cheshire East area.

Over the past 35 years, Motability has helped over three million people get mobile by exchanging their mobility allowance to lease a car, scooter or powered wheelchair. Children are assessed for the mobility element of the Disability Living Allowance from the age of 3.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust
Cystic fibrosis is a life-shortening inherited disease, affecting over 10,000 people in the UK. You can’t catch or develop cystic fibrosis, it’s something you’re born with and most cases in the UK are now diagnosed soon after birth. If you or someone you know has been recently diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis it can be overwhelming, but the Cystic Fibrosis Trust can help with information and support.

Changing Places is a group which campaigns for changing facilities to be made available for disabled people. They also provide a listing of adult sized public changing facilities.

Family Information Services
FIS is a free, impartial one-stop-shop service for parents/carers and young people aged 0–19, providing accurate and detailed information on services in Cheshire East, regionally and nationally. From childcare to tax credits to guidance on bullying, the Family Information Service can assist for all manner of queries, big or small.
