Climbing & Sports Holiday Session – Crewe

Climbing and Sports Holiday session – Everybody Sports & Recreation

at Cheshire College South & West (formerly South Cheshire College) in Crewe from 1pm to 3pm.

Spaces will be limited for the climbing and will need to be booked in advance as we have to confirm climbing numbers prior to the session.

We’ll also be running our regular sports activities in the other half of the sports hall.

If you don’t want to go on the climbing wall and just want to come for the sports activities you’re welcome to do so.

If you have any questions or would like any further information about any of our activities please get in touch on 07506 317 055 or email inclusion@everybody.org.uk

Activ8 South – Playworld, Shavington

Soft Play Sessions – Activ8

Everybody’s Activ8 sessions allow children to try out new activities and let off steam without fear of being judged. Children can play on the specialist soft play equipment, and get creative with arts and crafts, supervised by our friendly coaches and volunteers.

The sessions run every fortnight and take place at Fun 4 All in Macclesfield and Playworld in Shavington.

Everybody Sport and Recreation believes that leisure and learning activities are not passive ways of spending time, rather a way of gaining enjoyment, satisfaction, achievement, pleasure and inclusion. Our Ability for All programme is a range of inclusive activities for all ages with a disability or a life- term condition.

Transport Problems – Cheshire East and TSS meeting for parents

We are aware that many of our members have had a really bad experience with their child or young person’s SEND home to school / college transport this year.

We have spoken to Cheshire East & TSS to raise the issues, and ask them to confirm what the process should be, what has gone wrong and how they will make sure it doesn’t happen again next year.

Ian Donegani (Head of Service, SEND & Inclusion at Cheshire East) replied to say he would like to meet directly with parents to hear about the issues they have experienced, and would invite representative from TSS (Transport Solution Services) to also come along to listen and answer questions.

The first of these meetings is on Friday 21 September, at 10:30am in Sandbach: if you would like to attend please email cheshireeastpcf@gmail.com or call 07794431768

We are hoping to hold more meetings so that as many people as possible can attend and have their voice heard – if you would be interested please email cheshireeastpcf@gmail.com to let us know what areas / times of day you could attend.

If you cannot get to a meeting in person you can still have your say click here to open our quick quiz survey on SEND Transport to school / college

Home Education Information Morning

Home education – find out the facts at our information morning

Cheshire East Parent Carer Forum are holding an information morning to find out more about the reality of Home Education for children & young people with SEN. Starting at 10, they will each speak and then you will have the opportunity to ask any questions to the panel, and to chat with others.

  • Tea, coffee (& maybe even biscuits!) provided
  • Children & young people welcome
Activities are being arranged with Everybody leisure, so please let us know if children / young people are coming

Any questions please email cheshireeastpcf@gmail.com or call 07794431768
